I have a confession to make, this is definitely not my first I Heart palette. This is my sixth full size palette and I own a mini as well. I love the blend ability, pigmentation and color selection.

I have been looking at another purple palette for months now, a more expensive high end brand, Anastasia Beverlyhills Norvina. I love every tutorial and review ever made about this palette! (Well most of them)

I was looking for a more affordable version. The I heart make up Revolution Violet palette is not a dupe for the Norvina palette, but some of the colors are similar. And I was looking for purple eyeshadows. The Norvina palette contains 14 colors and the Violet palette contains 18 colors. There are definitely some differences, the Violet shimmers are a little less shimmery, still beautiful tho! The violet palette contains a pink: “forsaken”. I like that pop of purple/pink. The violet palette also contains “mulberry” a red wine like color and I love to use that one over brown neutrals to warm up a color, especially for this fall season.

The Violet palette is a perfect combination between purples and neutrals. I made two looks to show you how versatile this palette can be. I usually only wear neutrals, but I like a pop of color now and then. I made the purple look especially for this review and I think I like it! What do you think, should I wear this look more often?

I love this palette and it definitely adds to my collection, I love the purples in combination with the warmer tones. My favorite colors are: amethyst, prevail and levity. Use an eyeshadow base and your eye look is set for the day! The price is low, the quality is high, a perfect combination and you will love it!
